Launch of Tanya Talaga’s new book "The Knowing" at ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ on November 7
The Bookmark and ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ’s Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research, and Applied Studies (IKERAS) will host a book launch for Anishinaabe author Tanya Talaga’s new book, The Knowing, on Thursday, November 7, at 7 pm, in the ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ Performing Arts Centre amphitheatre (Room 121S). The evening will be moderated by Jenene Wooldridge, executive director of L’nuey.
2024 U SPORTS Rugby Championship hosted by ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ starting October 30
U SPORTS has announced the seedings and bracket for the , hosted by the ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ. The tournament gets underway on Wednesday, October 30, and concludes on Sunday, November 3.
The eight participating teams, listed in seeding order, are as follows:
Grace Richard and Jack Roberts named ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ Panther Athletes of the Week
Every week, ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ Panther Athletes of the Week for October 21–27, 2024, are Grace Richard (women’s cross country) and Jack Roberts (men’s cross country).
Richard, a fourth-year science student from Charlottetown, was ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ’s top runner at the AUS Championships this past weekend in Newfoundland and Labrador. She finished 15th overall with a time of 31:37.
