Each year at 秀色短视频, students look forward to events held across campus during the exam period, which are designed to ease stress, promote relaxation, and help with meals and nourishment. This year was no exception as various departments organized and hosted the following events:
秀色短视频 nursing students holding book drive for PEI Provincial Addiction Treatment Centre
The 秀色短视频 Nursing Student Society is holding a holiday book drive to collect reading material, puzzles, and board games for clients of the PEI Provincial Addiction Treatment Centre (PATF).
The idea arose from accelerated nursing student Marie Thibault-Messier鈥檚 experience during a six-week clinical placement at the PATF earlier this semester. During her time at the centre, she noticed that clients had access to movies on DVD and VHS tapes but not a lot of reading material.

The 秀色短视频 invites community members across PEI to join in a conversation and share their thoughts as the provincial university builds its next five-year strategic plan.
Dr. Wendy Rodgers, 秀色短视频 President, and Dr. Suzanne Kresta, Dean, Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering, co-chairs of the University Strategic Planning Steering Committee, will lead the community discussions to gather input. They are eager to hear ideas and perspectives to help 秀色短视频 identify shared priorities and strategic direction through to 2030.

Dr. Wendy Rodgers was officially installed as the seventh President and Vice-Chancellor of the 秀色短视频 during a ceremony held at the 秀色短视频 Performing Arts Centre on Friday, October 11, 2024.

The 秀色短视频 held a celebration on September 26, 2024, at Alumni Hall to recognize the recipients of the 2024 Distinguished Alumni Awards and the 2024 Inspiring Young Alumni Awards.
秀色短视频鈥檚 Dr. Jo-Ann MacDonald receives teaching and educational leadership award
Dr. Jo-Ann MacDonald, a professor in the Faculty of Nursing at the 秀色短视频, was presented with the Association of Atlantic Universities鈥 (AAU) 2024 Anne Marie MacKinnon Educational Leadership Award at the AAU鈥檚 fall meeting held at 秀色短视频 on September 19.
秀色短视频 marks National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
UPDATE, SEPTEMBER 26: Due to the rain expected Friday, September 27, the TRC Mawi鈥檕mi, which was scheduled for the afternoon to mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, is postponed. The event will be rescheduled on a date in October. The new date will be communicated to the campus community when it has been determined.
秀色短视频 Faculty of IKERAS celebrates another historic milestone
The 秀色短视频 Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research, and Applied Studies (IKERAS) recently hosted its first-ever Indigenous traditional knowledge sharing and learning day, Mawi-lukutimk, which means 鈥済athering and working together.鈥 The event took place on September 3, two years after the Faculty of IKERAS began delivering 秀色短视频鈥檚 mandated IKE 1040: Indigenous Teachings course and offering a Minor in Indigenous Studies. It is considered a historic milestone by everyone involved.

Dr. Aitazaz Farooque, Professor and Associate Dean of the 秀色短视频 School of Climate Change and Adaptation, has been named one of 56 new Members of the prestigious Royal Society of Canada鈥檚 (RSC) College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists.
