Sessional Instructors - Faculty of Arts - Fall 2024
The Department of Political Science at the ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ invites applications for a sessional instructor to teach in the Fall 2024 semester. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.
Please note: the course offered below will be taught in person, unless otherwise specified as an online course. Note that this course has been timetabled for M 6:00pm to 8:50pm, with the first class on 9 September 2024.
POLS-2110 – Law, Pol, Judicial Process I (3 Credits)
This course is designed to acquaint interested students with the nature of law. It has a Canadian focus with special reference to Prince Edward Island. The areas covered in this semester include sources of law, interests protected by the law, and fundamental legal and political concepts. Major areas of concentration are constitutional and civil law.
Lecture: Three hours a week
Qualifications:
Successful applicant will have a minimum of a law degree.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates with seniority on the ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ Sessional Roster and full-time and term contract Faculty members of the Academic unit.
