The Department of Biomedical Sciences is seeking a sessional instructor (0.5) to assist in the delivery of the following course to first-year veterinary students during the Winter 2025 semester.  This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

Microscopic Anatomy II (VBS 1120)

This position involves assisting in the teaching of the weekly laboratories of microscopic anatomy (veterinary histology) for first year DVM students.  The laboratories provide hands-on experience to develop independent skills with microscopes for the identification of cells and tissues. Other responsibilities include assisting in designing and delivering the midterm and final examinations. 

Qualifications:

Applicant requirements include previous training in microscopic anatomy, and a degree in a related field of biology or medicine, preferably a DVM degree.   Experience with creation of web-based instructional materials would also be an asset. 

Priority will be given to members of the 秀色短视频 Sessional Roster for the Department of Biomedical Sciences.
