B. Jaffer, Senator for British Columbia. This event will take place Friday, February 8, 2013, 11:30 am in McMillan Hall, W.A. Murphy Student Centre. A portion of every ticket sold will be used to raise funds for the Dr. Vianne Timmons International Student Award. In response to feedback from a survey conducted with administrative professionals this past fall, the Centre for Life-Long Learning has launched a new professional development certificate program. The Administrative Professional's Development Program is designed for those who have been working in the administrative professional field and have found gaps in their skills, need to update their skills as a result of a change in their job, or simply want to enhance their knowledge and skills. The program begins March 7, 2013 and includes courses on Understanding Change, Time Management and Planning, Essentials of Workplace Writing, Conflict Resolution and Communication Skills to Handle Difficult Conversations.
